If travelling in a car, please keep the heating off and air-conditioning on (especially if it is a hot day).

The cake should be transported flat on the floor in your vehicle. We recommend either in the boot or the floor of the passengers seat.

Please do not hold your cake box from the sides or else you will squash the sides of your cake. Always use the cake board, and the base of the box, to move your cake. 

Drive carefully!

Nikki's Bakery does not take or accept any responsibility for the cake once it has left the kitchen and is in the customers hands.

Please store the cake in a cool and dry area away from any sunlight or heat.

If this is not possible, please store the cake in the fridge.

The cake should be stored in the fridge if it contains cream cheese frosting or fresh cream icing.

If the cake is stored in the fridge, please remove the cake from the fridge 3-4 hours before serving to allow the room cake to come to room temperature. This will make the cake taste even more delicious!

Given the current situation with COVID-19, Nikki's Bakery uses Royal Mail's services and posts all items first class (not signed for). Delivery is estimated to be the next day, however there are delays in some areas. Delays depend on the post office and their staffing arrangements in your local areas. We advise to allow 2-5 days for postal products to arrive. 

If you would like to upgrade your postage for guaranteed next day delivery then please do contact us so we can arrange this, however this will be subject to an additional cost.

Nikki does not take any responsibility for late parcels given that the service is out of our control. If a parcel does not arrive by the use by date, which is stated within the product, then please do contact us so we can resolve the issue. 

In order to keep the cake as fresh as possible, store the cake in the fridge.

Nikki's Bakery bakes and decorates the cake a day before collection is required and uses the highest quality ingredients possible. This allows the cake to remain fresh for 5 days from the date of baking (4 days from collection).

Any postal products are made fresh on the day of posting and are heat sealed for freshness and therefore last up to 1 week from date of posting. Products should also be stored in the fridge to maintain freshness.
